Have been playing with this new toys of mine for few months. Impressed with its responseness and smoothness. Till now, have no complaint so far... if I have to pick one, then it would be the battery life... not bad but not as good as my old smart phone - Nokia N97.
Well, ditched Nokia and go for Samsung was a correct choice though:P Even Nokia itself does not want to support Symbian anymore.
My phone is the very first batch and so have a few custom roms that I can play with, so far I am sastified with the CheckROM and its modified Siyah kernel. It really make it run so smooth and with better battery life:)
Give it a try, IF YOU WANT FULL POTENTIAL OF YOUR SAMSUNG!!

Ah....... battery fault
Sigh, this time is not Dell fault I guess, after motherboard changed, the battery still cant be detected. Finally, have to spend RM349 to get a new battery... why don't the battery dies gradually? Hate the new technology!!
Well, in conclusion, my laptop is like NEW again!!
As for the malfunction battery, I have taken it apart, and here is the picture .. hehe. Well, no idea how to fix it, but just for the fun of it.

Dell laptop SUCKS!
Being various Dell laptops for the past few years, I am sure that the quality of the Dell laptops are going down hill. The recent Studio 15 that I owned has being repaired for more than 5 times (motherboard replaced twice!!). Now, I have filed another complaint with Dell that the battery is not being detected by the laptop, most likely motherboard failure again...
Please think twice if you want to buy any Dell product, unless you plan to get the extended warranty. However, Dell suppotr is undoubtedly one of the best in response though.
Hopefully, after this repair, my laptop will be good as new, well, in fact, except the battery, ram, hard disk and LCD, the laptop is basically new!! Everything replaced :p

Coconut Jelly from Penang
Back from Penang not long ago. There is one food, or should I say dessert - coconut jelly. It is the best thing to try on a hot day, refreshing and cooling!!
From the outside, it just looked like normal coconut with its skin removed. What really interesting is the all the coconut water inside in has been turned into jelly form. Bassically, you can scoop out the jelly or suck it using straw. What's more? you can still eat the coconut fresh after finishing the jelly.... yummy.
Almost forgot, it is located at Jalan Dato Keramat. Must try if you visit Penang.

Childhood memory.... Super Nintendo
My mom asked me to check if my brother's Play Station still working before decide to give it away or trash it. Well, Just for the fun of it, I 'dig' out my Super Nintendo system and give it a shot.
To my amazement, it is still WORKING!! After sitting in the cupboard for years, yes, many years, I would say 10 years or more. The Game Cartridges works too, some might not familiar with the term Cartridges as right now games all come in CD, DVD or even Bluray. It is the media for games in the 'old' time.
Here is a peek of the System.

Anyway, just want to make a note before selling this old time memory away :)

My new toy - Nokia N97
Finally I got my new toy - Nokia N97, flagship of Nokia. It was bought to upgrade my exisiting N82. Even though, my N82 served me well for a year but I was urged to get a touch screen phone as the touch screen phones are everywhere now.
Before I bought my new toy, I did a thorough check on the review available on Internet and also personally went to Nokia Shop to have the physical feel of it. Well, I would say 80% of the review I got from Internet is NEGATIVE!
To be always unique, at least I think I am :), I give it a try nonetheless. To be honest, it can’t compete with Apple IPhone, for its responsiveness on the touch screen, but it certainly not a bad upgrade if you own previous N-series phones. For its touch screen’s responsiveness, I found it acceptable though.
The build quality is superb and the body itself is not fingerprint “attracter” which is one thumb up for Nokia to choose the right material. I have a chance to try on Samsung Omnia HD, and I am not fond of it for its size and its build quality, it felt “cheap”, even though its specification is definitely stronger than N97.
Another main reason to get the N97 would be its built in QWERTY keyboard, many people found it hard to use, maybe those reviewers are all with big fat finger…. Hehe… who knows? Another complaint is about its layout, I found it difficult at first but later on you will get used to its layout pretty fast. We should not reject reject anything that is unusual to the rest right?
Screen and sound quality both look promising too, bright display and loud sound. Another cool feature would be it built in FM transmitter, although I myself is not a music lover, but who will decline cool features?
Finally, I would give a 8/10 score for my new toy - N97. It is not the best out there but certainly worth every cent I spent on it.
